Top 10 pickup lines from Sabrina Carpenter's latest album

The HUD App Team

Sabrina Carpenter has transitioned from Disney Channel Princess to Pop Princess... But her music is so much more than the saccharine manufactured songs that blare out at the club. Killer lyrics, singable tunes, and a whole lot of feelings wrapped up in an album that, quite simply, bangs from start to finish. Her new album Short n' Sweet is anything but (and you won't be able to stop from adding every single track to your playlist).

We've taken a lighthearted (but actually, we might be serious) look the lyrics from Sabrina's (Can we call you Sabrina? We want to be your best friends!) latest album and identified some lines we think would be great to try as pick-ups.

  1. "I heard you're back together and if that's true, you'll just have to taste me when he's kissin' you..." ("Taste") - tell it to the one that got away, or the one you can't forget (yes, we know what the song's about, but it works for this purpose too!).
  2. "Well, I have a fun idea, babe - maybe just stay inside!" ("Please please please") - this one sells itself. Nothing better than getting cosy indoors with your date.
  3. "How you're lookin' at me, yeah, I know what that means - and I'm obsessed. Are you free next week? I bet we'd have really good bed chem." ("Bed Chem") - this whole song is one big, long pick-up line.
  4. "I bet the thermostat's set at six nine." ("Bed Chem") - Perfect when you have some very specific activities in mind and you want to get right to the point.
  5. "Move it up, down, left, right, oh switch it up like Nintendo!" ("Espresso") - My God, we love a gaming-themed play on words, and chances are your date will, too.
  6. "You're so dumb and poetic, it's just what I fall for - I like the aesthetic." ("Dumb & Poetic") - maybe not the most flattering of lines but one to pull out when he's trying to woo you with words and maybe just not quite hitting the mark... Say it with affection, not sarcasm.
  7. "If I can't find the one I love I guess it's you that I'll be kissin' just to get my fixings!" ("Slim Pickins") - when you don't want anything serious, but they're really good at making out.
  8. "You make me wanna make you fall in love." ("Juno") - short and sweet, when you're feeling tender toward someone and just feel like seeing where it goes.
  9. "Wanna try out my fuzzy pink handcuffs? Oh I hear you knockin', baby, come on up!" ("Juno") - you're into light bondage? Cool.
  10. "Adore me, hold me and explore me, I'm so f*ckin' horny..." ("Juno") - you can't get more direct than this. Say what you want and want what you say.
